Description

The extruded finned tube is made by compressing a metal tube with a metal sleeve (usually aluminum) that is heated and then mechanically deformed to create fins that are bonded to the tube. This type of finned tube provides good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance. The continuous metal structure between the fins and the tube supports effective heat transfer. Extruded finned tubes are suitable for applications in high-temperature environments, such as power plants, chemical processing, and HVAC systems.
