Product material

Alloy 2507 is a super duplex stainless steel composed of 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, and 7% nickel, engineered for challenging applications that demand both superior strength and corrosion resistance. It is ideal for use in chemical processing, petrochemical industries, and seawater equipment. The alloy offers excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, along with high thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its high levels of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen provide strong protection against pitting, crevice, and general corrosion.

Additionally, Alloy 2507 boasts excellent impact strength. However, it is not recommended for use in applications where prolonged exposure to temperatures above 300°C is expected, as this may reduce its toughness.
